📖 The Book of Mists 📖

An ancient grimoire, the exact origin of which remains unknown, the Book of Mists seems as old as the wind of the hills. Its cover is made from pale, almost silver leather, engraved with motifs of spirals, waves, and clouds. Inside, there is no ordinary writing: its pages are of immaculate white, but when opened during the correct ritual, a flowing ink—resembling liquid mist—slowly forms symbols, figures, and sometimes entire texts.

Some say the book is alive, that it breathes lightly, and its pages tremble when it senses the presence of a sincere soul.

✨How Morgana Uses the Book of Mists✨

Morgana never uses it lightly. Before each consultation, she takes the time to observe the stars to ensure that the moment is right for consulting the Book. This ritual is known as the Hour of the Veil.

The Ritual

Opening in Silence: Morgana places the book at the center of her altar, surrounded by lunar stones and small vials of mist water collected at dawn. No words must be spoken until the book is opened.
The Awakening of the Grimoire: By pouring a few drops of mist water on the cover, the engraved spirals slowly come to life. Morgana then places both hands on the book and closes her eyes.
The Book of Mists opens slowly by itself to the right page.

Reading the Mists: Ink tendrils rise as seconds pass and draw:
- Symbolic scenes, like an animal, a key, a labyrinth, a veiled silhouette...
- Sometimes, short messages in flowing, shifting handwriting.
- Occasionally, fragments of ancient oracles emerge in rhymes or forgotten languages that only Morgana understands.

Interpretation: Morgana does not merely read the images, she also feels the emotions of the Book, as the mists are sensitive to the state of the soul.
If you are sincere, the visions are clear. If you hide a truth or are filled with doubt, the ink becomes blurred, the messages ambiguous or fragmented.

🌀 Specificity of the Book

The Book of Mists is capricious:
- Sometimes, it simply refuses to open.
- Other times, it skips several pages to go to an unexpected but essential passage.
Morgana knows that the Book chooses what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.

Some people are deeply moved when they see the images themselves appear before their eyes, as if the Book is reading them bare.
